How Do I Become a Certified Personal Trainer?
I want to become certified as a personal trainer, what should I do? How long are the classes? What are the lessons? What it takes to be employed in a gym? You need a university that offers curriculum, then register to see the university. If you're still in school counselors and then you can see that they can offer you information on universities in this course. If you have school, then try to find it, then start e-mail to the universities for their brochures. There are some certifications, but the best known are two certifications, NASM and ACE. You can even create an online course with NASM. http://www.acefitness.org/ Most gyms do you agree http://www.nasm.org/ without certification (primarily because you can not get insurance without certification). Bally used to employ personal trainers without certification if you were about to create. But you have your CPR certificate. http://www.r redcrossorg / services / HSS / degree programs are available ranging from six months up to 2 years in college. However, you can also get the certification of the different schools of training staff in much less time. You can obtain certification and the light that works at a gym in three months. But if you want to make a career of personal training, you should invest in a program that will be better prepared. There is a list of staff training programs on the link below .

What is/are the best Personal Trainer certification(s) available?
I'm thinking about getting a personal trainer and want to know, from someone who is certified and experienced, what cert (s) recommended or necessary. Curious about the fitness and diet in the first place, but want to know about strength and fitness / aerobics. those who can and those who do not learn? is that my company may (without the commas of course) If you want to go with Solid certification NCSA-CPT, NASM, Cooper Institute, ACE, or ACSM. Most of them have some college requirements, I do not feel bad at all. If you want an easy way to call yourself a "personal trainer" you can choose any of the other "weekend seminar with Take Home Test Sam -. Moderator of Raw Fitness on Yahoo groups www.nakidfitness.com Start with a personal. Coach certification. You should be certified as CPR. Almost all gyms, and companies require this certification. I recommend just starting at a health club chain used as training and Bally's or Gold at the development of this atmosphere, this way you get experience and you have a client pool there. They tend to spend time searching. Then when you feel sure you have enough experience - the next step is to open your own business. I would recommend doing it in that order. another certificate that is good is specailist a consulting firm. It shows how to approach and sell to all the different personalities. You can be the best coach in the world, but if you can not sell yourself - do not care. Certification I personally recommend IFPA. www.ifpa-fitness.com. I had a very good experience with them. Your materials are top notch. very practical in the real world.I never go anywhere else for cardio because I am interested in all areas - they have a certification for it .

What courses would I need to take if I was to become a personal trainer?
I wonder which of course I do because I am trying to determine if this is what I do (but only'll probably actually be fit:) I need). Who knows how many years of education, as required, oh, and above all, earn as much as you can;) lol, the chemistry is one thing. I have a friend who is a personal trainer. She did not attend college, but took some classes from the work they already offered. I would be a gym and ask. Possible classes are at the center or a community center for all classes to go to.

Should I take classes online or at community college for PERSONAL TRAINER?
I would like to become a certified personal trainer. I understand that there are courses you can take online classes and I see my community college can be made. Which is best? And if you have a personal trainer, tells you what you deserve to enjoy it if you know what your hours are and what their certifications are.thanks! Community College, because if you class online you are prone to error and not much more difficult to obtain practical experience. Doing the course in person is the only way to really know what you're doing. There is only so much one can learn to read. Wages and working hours are based on the work for you and where. I take my personal trainer qualification with my other skills (many different skills, such as psychology, economics, etc.) and make $ 85/hour, which is not nearly as may know what to do, but a price I deem reasonable. I work for myself, so I use my own hours.

I want to be a personal trainer, is BTEC Sports and Science certificate a waste of time?
I want a personal trainer, and I take a YMCA course, but do not know if it went to six form and studying BTEC sport and science certificate. I do not want to stay, but I do not know if I need a degree. Any help? Yes, it would help! In this course you will learn about sports coaching, nutrition, anatomy, etc etc all you need, so if you really want to become or remain a personal trainer. It would be excellent starting qn I've been in business for a while now. And I have never heard of BTEC Sports Science and certification. I am familiar with the most popular personal trainer certification (there are 8 give or take) and it is not one of them. For a personal trainer to certified personal trainer. It takes an average of six months, depending on your certification, and how much time you put into it. You will also need to be CPR certified. There are thousands of companies out there for certification, but only a handful are worth, I prefer IFPA. www.ifp-fitness.com. Very good material. It is painful to read. If you are serious about being a PT, so I went with IFPA and drop BTEC .

How do you become a personal trainer? If your from the DFW area that helps a lot too!?
Ok I am confused about what to do in life and I thought, is business good, but I do not think so. I've been thinking about what I love and my passion and I know now that it has to do with fitness. I've always loved sports, I am a member of a gym. And now I think that a personal trainer is what I want to do. I want people to achieve their goals, I like their progress they have made. So my question is, do you have any tips, suggestions? I know I need to be certified, but there are many out there. Even better is an online course that I've seen or a real hands on, I heard about a place in Dallas, but not sure what it's called. I have also heard that I need my own insurance or something like that should just incase someone gets hurt. Any help, tips I'd really appreciate it!

What are the best and worst certifications for a personal trainer?
I have worked for 14 years, I saw my way around a gym, although I know that many do not know. it is better to take a 6-month class for a personal trainer (not the $ 5700) has been or is it better to take a course of home study in a special certification to ACE, NCSF, etc.? I would also highly personal training, and I have heard ACSM (American Council on Sports Medicine) is'm out with a personal training certification, sure, you've probably heard of ACSM is, they are a very safe organization health and have a certificate. of them would be awesome. But if you can not do that it's a good idea in any other recognized organization, so you may confirm credibility with your customers. but it sounds like yo'ure ready to track the time and money to be made. Good luck! Do not waste so much money. If you can get certified for less, there is no certification that really so many things that weither or your customers are happy with a coach that I had almost a year, she had the highest level of certification and eventually she knew very little about the concept that no man is ever the same. She was ok, she said nothing certifications, and it took me a lot of money. If you are good, nobody will really care where the certification comes from .
